Recently, the Pinglu Grand Canal Bridge, an under-construction continuous rigid frame bridge with the largest span in Guangxi, was successfully closed up, and the whole line of the bridge was completed ahead of schedule, marking a major victory in the construction of the entire project of Datang-Pubei Expressway.
It is understood that Datang-Pubei Expressway is an important part of the Beiliu (Qingwan) - Nanning (Suxu) Expressway Network in Guangxi. The length of the main line is 123.735 km. It has two-way four lanes, and the design speed is 120 km/h. After completion, it will become the most convenient channel in the Nanning-Qinzhou-Yulin-Maoming-Pearl River Delta region. When the project is completed at the end of this year, the driving time from Nanning to Guangdong will be shortened to more than three hours, which will facilitate Guangxi’s cooperation with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and improve the traffic connection between Guangxi and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It will not only be convenient for people to travel along the line, but also promote the regional economic development.
