It was learned from Nanning Municipal Bureau of Statistics yesterday that Nanning has actively implemented the strategy of rural revitalization, tapped the potential of increasing agricultural income through multiple channels, implemented various policies to increase people’s income, accelerated the pace of poverty alleviation, and promoted the steady increase of farmers’ income by different means. In the first half of this year, the per capita disposable income of rural residents in Long’an, Mashan and Shanglin, three poverty-stricken counties at the national level, increased by 9.8%, 10.2% and 9.9% respectively, and the income of rural residents continued to grow rapidly.
In the first half of the year, the per capita disposable income of farmers in Long’an, Mashan and Shanglin reached 5,285 yuan, 4,110 yuan and 4,645 yuan, respectively. The income of farmers in the three counties showed four characteristics: the growth rate of income was faster than the national average level, faster than the average level of the whole region, faster than that of the urban residents and faster than the growth of GDP. Due to the steady improvement of agricultural production, the positive improvement of employment situation and the sustained release of policy dividends, the increase of farmers’ income has achieved remarkable results.
