It was recently learned from Nanning Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, TV and Tourism that 1,683,400 people visited Nanning during the 4-day holiday of May Day, and the tourism consumption totaled 1.373 billion yuan, with the year-on-year growth of 18.36% and 28.08%, respectively.
It was known that during the May Day holiday of this year, park-type products had sprung up and various products of new industries had blossomed in an all-round way. Theme parks, rural tourism, tour around city and other products had continued to boom. Urban residents were keen on visiting the mountains and the countryside during the holiday. Scenic spots around the city, rural tourist areas and agritainment had become main destinations of short-distance travel. In scenic spots for agritainment and rural tourism, tourists experienced the life and fun in farmyard through picking fruits, tasting farm dishes and fishing. Folk festivals and farming experience had attracted a large number of tourists.
