Recently, Nanning City has officially issued "Several Policies and Measures on Responding to the COVID-19 and Supporting the Development of Industrial Enterprises" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"), which has put forward 8 effective measures in four aspects including encouraging enterprises to conduct production at full capacity and strengthening the support for enterprises, and will be temporarily implemented until June 30, 2020. The “Measures” is intended to reduce the adverse impact of the epidemic on industrial enterprises and economic operation in Nanning, promote industrial enterprises to speed up the resumption of work and production, support industrial enterprises to overcome difficulties, and ensure the stable development of industrial economy of the city and the comprehensive implementation of the strategy of strengthening the capital.
Specifically, the “Measures” increases the subsidy for newly-established enterprises with the designated size that meets the statistical standard, and grants 600,000 yuan, 300,000 yuan and 200,000 yuan to each enterprise that is newly established, has the designated size that meets the statistical standard and is included in the statistical calibers in the first quarter, the second quarter and the second half of 2020 respectively. Before this, previous policy has uniformly given 200,000 yuan to each qualified newly-established enterprise with the designated size that meets the statistical standard. In addition, the “Measures” makes it clear that enterprises that are newly founded, expanded or converted to produce N95 masks, general medical masks and other important epidemic prevention materials of urgent need should be given subsidies for equipment investment. For projects put into operation before March 15, 2020, 50% of the investment in core equipment will be subsidized, with a maximum subsidy of 5 million yuan for each enterprise.
