Disposable income of Nanning’s rural residents grows in first half year

The data released by the Nanning Investigation Team of National Bureau of Statistics on August 16 show that, in the first half year of 2017, the per capita disposable income of Nanning’s rural residents is RMB6,379, ranking the fifth in the 14 cities in Guangxi Autonomous Region, increasing by RMB564 year on year, with a growth rate of 9.7% which ranks the seventh in the region.


The data show that the wage income is an important factor to drive the increase of residents’ income. In the first half year, the per capita wage income of Nanning’s rural households is RMB2,259, increasing by 7.5% on a year-on-year basis, which has driven the increase of disposable income by 2.7 percentage points.


The household business operating income is the main source of rural residents’ income. In the first half year, the per capita net income of Nanning’s rural households is RMB3,012, increasing by 11.2% compared with the same period of 2016, which has driven the increase of disposable income by 5.2 percentage points.


In addition, the net property income and net transferred income keep growing at a relatively fast speed. In the first half year, the per capita net property income of Nanning’s rural households is RMB293 with a year-on-year growth rate of 8.9%; the per capita net transferred income is RMB815, with a year-on-year growth rate of 10.7%.
