According to the China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, presentation meeting of the 14th China-ASEAN Expo has been held successfully in Batam of Riau Islands, Indonesia. It is reported that more than 100 entrepreneurs from the Riau Islands attended the meeting.
It is revealed that, there will be new exhibition hall for this year’s China-ASEAN Expo to help Indonesian products access to Chinese markets and boost investment between China and Indonesia.
Bilateral trade value of China and Indonesia has been on a continuous and steady rise and reached 53.5 billion dollars in 2016. Launch and implementation of key infrastructure projects, such as Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train, marks the huge potential of bilateral cooperation on international production capacity. After 13-year development, China-ASEAN Expo has grown to be a demonstration platform to boost economic and trade contacts and investment between China and Indonesia.
