Nanhu Park is the biggest park with lake in Nanning.
In 1956, Municipal People's Government of Nanning altered the Nanhu Lake of over 9,000 mu (6 million square meters) into a fish farm and labeled it as a scenic spot. In 1972, the government expanded it to a waterscape-themed park. The park covers 160.26 hectares in total, possessing land area of 35.78 hectares, water area of 124.48 and green area of 27.2 hectares. It is also a comprehensive park that has subtropical landscape plants and recreational activities based on the lake.
