Nanhu Park of Nanning City is located in the core area on the east side of the city center, with a total area of 200 hectares, including 92 hectares of land and 108 hectares of water. The park was established in 1973, formerly known as Nanhu Nursery and Nanhu Fish Farm. After years of development, it has been built into a comprehensive urban ecological park with the characteristics of ethnic features and subtropical scenery of Guangxi. The park boasts beautiful scenery, clear water, green shores, and lush plants. It features unique attractions such as the Nine-Arch Bridge, the Memorial Hall of Revolutionary Martyrs Li Mingrui and Wei Baqun and so on, the Famous Trees Garden, the Water Curtain Movie Waterscape, the Mist Forest Landscape, the Large Bonsai Garden, the Lakeside Waterside Trail, the Lakeside Fountain Square, and the Chinese Rose Garden, all of which attract numerous guests from home and abroad, with an annual visitor count reaching 15 million person-times.
