2. Project Scope, Capacity and Capital Compositions

　 2.1 Project Scope and Capacity

　　 The project covers an area of 150 mu, with a building floor area of 35 thousand m2. Main construction scope: 5,000 m2 for classroom buildings, 2,000 m2 for office buildings, 3,000 m2 for laboratory buildings, 4,000 m2 for multi-purpose building of library, 2,000 m2 for building of art, 3,000 m2 for the gym, 2,000 m2 for the canteen, 10,000 m2 for students’ apartments, 2,000 m2 for building for teacher management, and 2,000 m2 for the international exchange center. In addition, a standard soccer field of 400 meters in length, a swimming pool, 6 grounds or courts for ball games, and facilities of road, square, landscaping, enclosing wall and gate, etc.

　 2.2 Capital Compositions

　　 The total investment is about RMB 150 million yuan, where the fees for land requisition is about 20 million, the fund for construction is RMB 130 million yuan. Acquisition of land is made through administrative appropriation, and the capital of full investments （ including the fees of land requisition by administrative appropriate ） will be raised by attracting outside capital.

　 As a functional department of the government, Nanning Municipal Bureau of Education is mainly in charge of the education undertakings and the work of Chinese spoken and written language. There are 2,623 schools under its command with a total of 1.18 million students and a teaching staff of 49 thousand full-time teachers over 7 counties and 5 urban areas.

4. Project Market Analyses

　 As the only international school in Guangxi, Nanning Asean International School mainly provides service to foreign students. With China-Asean Expo held in Nanning, there would be more and more investors and foreign enterprises coming to invest in the city. A school with first class faculties and first class facilities should relieve their family worries on the schooling of their children. And meantime Asean International School will play a great role in the international education cooperation, training and communication.

5. Project Competitive Advantages

　 The self-used house and land properties of the school will be exempted from house tax and tax on the use of urban land, and requisitioned cultivated land of the school obtained after approval is also exempted from tax on occupancy of cultivated land. And, such incomes as are obtained from students’ work-study programme, from school’s business of technological development, or technological transfer and related technical consultation, or service, and from the providing of education service by childcare center or kindergarten, will be exempted from business tax. And it will be free from enterprise income tax that school obtains charges, which are approved and brought into the fiscal budget management or fiscal extra-budgetary money account management.
