To erect a processing production line with an annual capacity of 30,000t of Tilapia. A total area of 30 mu will be used for such construction items as 2,160©O of processing workshops, warehouse, supporting facilities, selection and procurement of the production line.

The Project site is situated in Huanghou Industrial Park of Yiling Central Park, which is 25km away from Nanning Railway Station, 28km away from Nanning Yongjiang River quay, 45km from Nanning International Airport, 3km from Shuinan Expressway, convenient in transport. Water, power and communication facilities can meet the construction needs.
¢¢.Materials and Associated Situation
Wuming County has a subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 26¡æ. The daily average temperature for the coldest days is above10¡æ. The annual frost-free period is 337days, which is extremely suitable for tilapia breeding. There are reservoirs, rivers and ponds suitable for fish raising with a total water surface area of more than 150,000mu in the whole County. Presently the water area for tilapia raising is 20,000mu with an output about 12,000t. It is planned to develop tilapia raising base to 60,000mu with an output of 36,000t by the year 2005. The Project requires a total of material tilapia for 30,000t annually, and the material source is guaranteed.

Flesh of tilapia is stout and tastes delicious, containing high-grade animal protein. In the international market, tilapia further-processed products sell well. Previously, tilapia product was only consumed in Japan and the U.S.A. However, in recent years, it has been consumed all around the world, with consumption in developed countries increasingly growing. At present, China¡¯s export of further-processed tilapia products only covers a sales volume of 4.5% of the international market. Tilapia further-processed products still have vast room for development. With people¡¯s living standard improved and consumption structure optimized, demand for animal protein grows bigger and bigger. Therefore, not only in international markets, but also in domestic market, tilapia further-processed products are becoming more and more popular with a vast market.

The Project annual profit is RMB 33.81 million, the internal rate of return 36.5% and investment recovery period 3 years.
