The project site is 40km away from Binyang county seat and 47kmawatfrom Nanning. The special bus line of Nanning to Binyang passes by the Pass. Program-controlled telephone service and mobile phone signals as well as radio paging signals have covered the whole region of the county. There is a 10kv power line passing by the project site and there is ample supply of power for the project.

¢û. Analysis on Market and Anticipated Economic Benefits
Kunlun Pass has been a place of traffic and strategic importance from of old and was a point of battles in the past. Among the most famous battles were the ¡°Night Battle for the Seizure of the Pass¡± in the Song Dynasty and the battle against the Japanese invaders at Kunlun Pass in 1939. A memorial park, cenotaph and Pailou (archway) were built in 1946 to remember the officers and soldiers who lost their lives in the battles against the Japanese invaders. Jiang Jieshi and other military and political VIPs of the KMT gave their epigraphs and inscriptions as well as couplets to memorize those officers and soldiers who lost their lives in the battles against the Japanese invaders. Kunlun Pass has now become a base for patriotism education. After the project is completed, it will have an annual reception capacity of over 150 thousand person-times.
The investment profit margin is expected at 15.6% and the investment recovery period is 5.12 years.

XIII. Project Competitive Advantages
The project belongs to those encouraged for foreign investment by the state which is entitled to the following preferential policies: (1) Foreign enterprises that are encouraged by the state to make investment in China and are established in our autonomous region are entitled to a tax discount rate of 15% for their enterprise income tax; (2) enterprises, units and individuals from outside of Guangxi that have established enterprises with sole investment or joint ventures that are in agreement with the industrial policies are entitled to an exemption of income tax on the operating income of the party from outside of Guangxi for five years from the date of operation; (3) other newly established enterprises ,excluding enterprises forbidden or eliminated by laws are entitled to a tax exemption for two years from the date of operation; (4) foreign investment enterprises that are entitled to the ¡°two exemptions and three reductions¡± for their income according to the regulations of the Tax Law are also entitled to the exemption and reduction of the local income tax; (5) enterprises that are engaged in tourism development are entitled to are entitled to a tax discount rate of 15% for their enterprise income tax; (6) in case of occurrence of overlapping in implementing the above-said preferential policies, the most favorable preferential policy among them will be taken into consideration. The time for enjoying the preferential policies can be calculated on a continuous basis.
