Now the demand for extra fine nanometer grade calcium carbonate is increasing in the area of advanced coated paper, top-grade printing ink, special paint for cars, plastic pipes, plastic door and window, etc. The production output of nanometer grade calcium carbonate is low in China with limited varieties and is far from enough to meet the market demand. It is necessary to import over 80 thousand tons from abroad every year with a price of about 5000 Yuan per ton.
