  The Project site is proposed to be located in the proximity of Fucheng Township, 36km away from the County Seat of Wuming County and 2km from the entrance of the expressway. The site is provided with convenient traffic conditions. The programmable telephone, paging service, mobile service, as well as Internet service in the Township have already been available. Water supply can be connected to the urban network in the County Seat, while the power will be supplied from the nearby grid.
  ⅱ. Conditions of the Raw Materials and Supporting Facilities
  Wuming County is in possession of 4,000ha of bamboo forest, which will produce 3.5 million kg of fresh bamboo shoots annually. In Fucheng Township, it has now 10,000mu of bamboo forest for producing bamboo shoots. Along with the bamboo forests growing into the teeming period, the bamboo shoots yield will be doubled and can meet the demand of the production.

  In recent years bamboo shoot products sold annually in the international markets amounts to more than 4.5billion tons, with the annual growth of 2～3 million tons. Because of the high demand, the annual shortage in the supply is about 15million tons. The domestic annual yield of bamboo shoot products is 1.45 million tons, of which about 130,000 tons are exported. Although most of the products are consumed domestically, the products are still short in supply. Therefore, bamboo shoot products (boiled bamboo shoots, etc.) have a high market potential.

  Annual profit: RMB 7.50 million; financial Internal Rate of Return: 39.8%; recovery Period for Investment: 3.2 years (inclusive of construction period).
