The hotel was built in the early 1990s and opened to the public for business on May 1 st , 1991. The National Tourism Bureau approved it as the first two-star hotel in Nanning on May 15, 1992. It was recognized as a second-graded national hotel in 1998 and a three-star hotel in 2000.
