It was developed from Lipu taro after being transplanted and improved. Its root is moderately spindle-shaped, weighing 0.5 ¨C 1 kg each. It shows some obvious and delicate grains of a betel nut on the cross section and tastes fragrant and delicious. It mainly grows in Liuxu Town, Yongning County, where a growing area of 533.33 hectares has an annual output of 12,000,000 kg. The harvest season is from October to February of the next year.
