Brief introduction: The Damingshan Spot is a national nature preservation zone as a result of the efforts of the State Committee of “Man and the Biosphere”. The quiet glen and splendid peak, the age-old forest of olive trees, Flying Dragon waterfall, and the rising sun over the thick early morning clouds could make you feel as if your were in a fairyland. As a consequence of unique wind patterns and terrain, the temperature on the top of the mountain is 8-10℃ lower than that at the foot. the mountain has the reputation the “The Lushan in Guangxi” with the lovely views of the mountain mist of spring, the splendid waterfall of summer, the beautiful clouds of fall and the white snow of winter.

Tips: The early morning on the mountain can be cool and clammy, so do remember to dress appropriately if you plan to see sunrise.
