DBS (Development Bank of Singapore) Bank (China) Ltd., a Shanghai-based subsidiary bank of DBS Group Holdings Ltd. in China, announced on June 23 that its network in the mainland would be developed gradually from the eastern coastal areas to central China, southwestern regions and inland areas.
Recently, DBS Bank (China) Ltd. has been approved by China Banking Regulatory Commission to establish a branch in Nanning, thus becoming the first foreign-funded subsidiary bank in Nanning and symbolizing the transformation of the bank¡¯s network to the inland area.
Headquartered in Singapore, DBS Group Holdings Ltd. is one of the largest financial service groups in Asia. In accordance with the total value of assets, it is the biggest bank in Singapore and also one of the major banking groups in Hong Kong.
